These papers consist almost exclusively of financial records of the Brower family. The records include receipts, bills, contracts, and bonds. Most items are for routine items such as coal and building materials. Some more signficient items are included in the papers such as an appointment of Wilhelimus Brower as ensign in the Montgomery County Militia in 1793, signed by George Clinton and a list of taxable inhabitants to work on the road from John Fonda's to Tribes Hill in 1810.
